| Got my first royal flush the other day. I only used one of my hole cards and someone told me its not a 'true' royal flush. Anyone feel the same?  | |

| It is your royal flush, no doubt  If you, and everyone else left in the hand, had played a royal flush 'on the board' (all five cards), that would feel pretty hollow, but this is yours and a perfectly legitimate royal flush. Congrats | |

| It went in preflop. Flop was horrible, still resigned on the turn, ELATED on the river  Went on to chop 1st place too so it was a good day. | |
