Chatroom...

I really like the new chat placement, but I've been having trouble with chat lately. It seems to not remember me, every time I come in I need a mod to make me a member. Anyone have any suggestions?

This new chat placement is temporary so we all had that problem this time but....

Remembering your chat status is all down to cookies so when we are set up permanantly again, you need to check that cookies are allowed (globally, and if they are then check that they are not blocked specifically for this site (or Xat site))

I've just never had trouble with this before, it's only been happening the past few days. My cookies are definitely enabled and I don't have anything blocked, but I won't worry about it until we get the chat location set.

I AM using firefox though, I don't know if there are any compatibility issues since I'm not very familiar with Xat

You seem to have got this sorted now. Do you know what the problem was?
